Berlin, 29 April 2026 - growney, one of Germany's leading digital wealth managers, has selected Upvest as its investment infrastructure provider. Under the partnership, Upvest will provide the full investment infrastructure layer for growney, covering execution, custody, settlement, and middle- and back-office operations.
All customers of the growney platform will benefit from faster, more transparent services. The partnership will improve access to a broad selection of ETFs and mutual funds for portfolio solutions, automated savings plans, and a range of account types including individual, joint, child, and business accounts.
As robo advisory and digital wealth management become more widespread in Germany and across Europe, retail investors increasingly expect instant onboarding, real-time portfolio updates, detailed analytics, and a broader product range. The partnership enables growney to handle the growing demand quickly and securely, supported by improved usability, scalable processes, and maximum transparency for the investment platform.
The full migration of growney's existing user base is planned for the coming months. By migrating their existing business onto Upvest's infrastructure, growney gains the technical foundation to expand its product offering, enabling faster product iteration, a broader instrument universe, and the operational scalability to serve its growing user base.
Upvest's technology gives growney the ideal foundation to develop compelling new products and deliver tangible value for our end users and partners. We are already planning exciting new investment strategies with a focus on risk optimisation.
We are proud to support growney's next chapter. By leveraging Upvest’s Investment API and migrating onto Upvest's infrastructure, growney doubles down on its commitment to offer best-in-class user experience and a modern, intuitive product. Together, we are raising the bar for what digital wealth management looks like in Germany.
Upvest is now active in over 20 European markets and processes over 100 million orders annually for more than 30 financial institutions. The partnership with Europe's leading investment infrastructure provider positions the growney platform ideally to kick off its next phase of growth—and redefine the standards for digital investing in Germany.
